The letter from home was written by Bill Pekrul Bud's teacher's husband.  It touched our family so much that we want to share it with you.  It really sounds like Bud.
A Letter from Home

Dear Mom and Dad,

I'm sorry that I left so quickly. I really wanted to say good bye and tell
you one more time that I love you both. You knew that, right?
I just wanted you to know - I arrived safely and I am doing just fine.
Don't worry about that injured body I left behind. I'm feeling terrific
now - as light as a butterfly!
You know those Bible stories we read at St. Pauls? All those people are
here - Moses, Abraham, Noah (Did you know he got seasick on the ark?)
Thanks for all that time you spent with my memory work. We talk about
God's Word a lot! In fact, I just won my first Bible trivia contest!
Did I tell you that I've been staying with Pops? He was waiting for me as
soon as I got here! He's doing very well, too! It's fun to see him. I had
no idea how cool heaven would be. I can't begin to explain how much fun
I'm having. I thought I would miss you both, but everyone said that time
goes by so quickly here - it will seem like tomorrow and we'll all be
together again. Jesus is preparing a place for you. I was happy to hear
that. In fact, everything makes me happy here. It's great!
I hope you're happy too, because you made it possible for me to be here.
It feels like home.

Love,

Bud

PS. Jesus says hi!
