8/21/99  Because of Bud's tragedy many people started thinking more about their families.  Some live far away, and some live close but are too busy to spend time with their families.  If you know somebody you haven't seen for a while, send them a post card.

8/17/99  Loosing a child is the ultimate tragedy. Have you wondered "What do I say to people who have lost their child? How do you act when I encounter them?  What are they feeling? How can I support them? Although everyone faces grief in a different way, Dave and Brenda Bud's parents thought the notes presented in "When you Wish Upon A Star" written by a Georgia women and forwarded to them by Compassioate Friends were pretty well 'right on'. Look for it on Bud's Faith page.

8/16/99  Thanks to the Kenny Rogers for donating 6 tickets to his show at the Wisconsin State Fair. The tickets were auctioned off by Rick Mc Kay and his staff at radio station WBWI.  The story and pictures are on the Fundraisers page.

8/15/99  The Fundraisers page was updated, some of the dates were wrong.  I started to dress up the site a little by adding some animated GIFs and clipart.  This web site is all about faith in God.  We hope that people who visit are inspired to study God's word.  You can use the Bible Gateway to search the Bible for any subject, it is on the new Bible page.

8/12/99  At the Washington Co Fair Styx, the Oakridge Boys and Trace Adkins signed some guitars to be auctioned off in the future.  The story and   pictures can be seen on the Washington Co Fair page link on the Fundraisers page.

Fair where they raised $880 with tickets and backstage passes to the Oakridge Boys and Trace Adkins.  This story will be featured on it's own page in the near future.

8/4/99  An estimated 500 people attended Bud's funeral service.  They were all deeply touched by the wonderful sermon, "Cherish The Gift ".  Now you can read it for yourself. It's on Bud's Faith page.

7/30/99  Two new pictures added to the Photo Album.

7/28/99  Some people have been printing the home page of this web site and taping it to a coffee can to collect donations.  This is a great idea, but the page doesn't fit very well on the cans.  So, I made the Poster Page.  Print the Poster Page in landscape mode on your printer and it will fit real nice on a large coffee can. You can find the link to the Poster page on the Fundraisers page.

7/27/99  At the Washington Co. Fair the Oakridge Boys and Trace Adkins signed some guitars to be auctioned off in the future.  More about this story and more pictures will be coming in the near future.  You can see the first pictures on the Fundraisers page.

7/25/99  Bud circled his favorite Psalm in his Hymn Book.  We copied it from the book and used it in his funeral service.  You can see it written in his own hand writing on Bud's Faith page.

7/24/99  A letter from home was added to Bud's Faith page.  The letter from home was written by Bill Pekrul Bud's teacher's husband.  It touched our family so much that we want to share it with you.  It really sounds like Bud.
